Bari Seiden-Young, Senior Vice President, global corporate communications, citizenship and sustainability, The Estée Lauder Companies, will be retiring from the cosmetics giant after more than two decades.
 
Since 2019, Seiden-Young has served as The Estée Lauder Companies in her current role. In addition to crafting ELC’s corporate identity and branding strategy, Seiden-Young co-led the creation of the company’s global corporate citizenship and sustainability function and subsequently led the department’s team and communications.
 
Seiden-Young also led the company’s breast cancer campaign — which she has done since 2010. Working with the Lauder family and brands, the initiative has raised tens of millions of dollars supporting breast cancer research, education and medical services.
 
Seiden-Young’s retirement will cap a 22-year career at ELC, which Seiden-Young joined in 2001 as a VP in the company’s comms function. After overseeing communications for an array of ELC brands, Seiden-Young stepped into global roles overseeing social and digital media, corporate communications and citizenship and sustainability.
